MSAR® fuel can be considered as a low cost, low-NOx bunker fuel for 4-stroke and 2-stroke diesel engines, and marine boilers. bioMSAR™ has all the benefits of MSAR® with lower emissions including over 20% less CO2. The fuel, typically supplied directly from refineries or storage terminals, is delivered to vessels using conventional bunker fuel supply infrastructure and barges.
The use of MSAR® fuel is operationally and commercially proven as a marine bunker fuel, for use in both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. Quadrise worked closely with Maersk and Wärtsilä to demonstrate the capabilities of MSAR® fuel.
